At this time, crazycat studios is comprised of a principal photographer... Dave Herder.

My approach to photography is fun. Why complicate things... simple is always better, and it translates in the images. I truly believe that an honest smile cannot be faked.

Capturing key moments through the lens has been a skill and talent honed over many years. Growing up in rural Alberta, I focused on capturing landscape and the various critters that I grew up with. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta, I moved to Toronto and studied at Ryerson University. While studying, I also worked for a prominent studio called Empire Group for several years. I graduated Ryerson with an Honors degree in Graphic Communications Management and moved West to find a real life.

Today, I call Port Moody my home and I'd like nothing better than to create some great, lasting images with you!
