I woke up on Saturday morning thinking that I would have to come up with a solution to waterproof my camera, it was raining that hard. It didn't look good for weather. So, I packed my umbrella and with good spirits, headed out the door to VanDusen Gardens.

baby photos with Yale

baby photography is one of my favorites. Really, you are at the mercy of the baby because there is nothing that you can do to change the will of a newborn. Any parent is going to tell you that!

Here are some shots of a recent shoot with some friends and their son, Yale.

 

the carney comes to town

So the carnival is in town, actually its in Coquitlam. Odors of fried dough, candy floss, and stinky carnies abound. Its wonderful in a strange way. Now, Luke has been to the fair before but never really went on any rides. This was the day of his first ghetto carney ride. In the fibreglass encased fish he went, sitting, waiting for the trip to begin. Who knew? There were lots of other 2-3 year olds on the same ride. But the ride began and it was clear he did not like what was going on. After the trauma of the ride, we plucked him from the crazy rigid fish shell.
