Jim and Darlene @ VanDusen Gardens

I woke up on Saturday morning thinking that I would have to come up with a solution to waterproof my camera, it was raining that hard. It didn't look good for weather. So, I packed my umbrella and with good spirits, headed out the door to VanDusen Gardens.

I arrived a bit early and checked out the flowers in bloom, there were some really nice purple holly-like flowers up by the overlook to the main fountain. If the weather would just hold out... and sure enough the sky turned from heavily overcast to sunny and hot. No complaints here! Time to have some fun!!

Here's some of the results. Jim, Darlene, and crew... you guys were the best! Oh, and the food at the Shaughnessy Restaurant was just great!
