Terminal City Rollergirls

Now, I'll have to admit that the closest I've come to roller derby is watching Whip It!; this was really my first "in the flesh", exposure to the roller derby scene in Vancouver. I must say that it did not dissapoint. Seeing as roller derby is the fastest growing female sport in the lower mainland, there's no doubt that interest in this event was super high. The Minoru Arena in Richmond was packed, stands filled with fervent spectators. It was awesome.
